In addition to using cookies to track the pages you have visited on the website, the products you have purchased and the time you have spent on each page, we track other data regarding your activities, including the URLs you have visited, which browser you use and your IP address. C. Guidelines for cookies
  • 1
    What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that can be sent to and stored on your Device through your browser when you visit our website. A cookie typically contains the name of the website the cookie is coming from as well as its "lifetime" (i.e., how long it will remain on the Device). Some cookies contain data that is necessary for the normal operation of the website. Cookies are required for certain services to function. Please note that cookies do not collect your personal data, use them in sales efforts or remember where you have been on the internet.
  • 2
    Why do we use cookie?
We use cookies to make our website more user friendly and to tailor it and our products to your preferences. We also use cookies to compile anonymous, aggregated statistics that help us understand how our website is used and to improve its structure and content.
  • 3
What kinds of cookies do we use?
    • (1)
We use Google Analytics cookies, including "session cookies" and "analytics cookies".
Session cookies are temporary cookies that remain on your Device until you leave the website; analytics cookies collect data about your use of the website (such as which pages you have visited and what mistakes you may have discovered). All the information these cookies collect are anonymised and used only to improve the website's functionality, to identify the users' interests, evaluate the effectiveness of the advertising, compile statistics about the use of the website and evaluate the frequency and number of errors.
    • (2)
      Preference cookies
We use preference cookies to remember your language setting. If you change the language manually, the website will default to your choice the next time you visit.
    • (3)
      Third-party cookies
We also use a number of third-party vendors that may send cookies to your Device on our behalf when you visit our website, since this gives them permission to deliver services.

Cookies may be installed when you use third-party links from social media such as Facebook or YouTube, such as when you click on the "Like" or Share" icons. If you use such third-party services, they may send you targeted advertising.

Some of the cookies we use are managed by third parties, and you need to search for privacy policies on their websites in order to receive addition information about their use of cookies. We have no control over third-party websites and have no authority to change their use of cookies; we are also not responsible for their actions.
  • 4
    Cookie lifetime
There are two types of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies expire when you close your browser, while persistent cookies have a longer "life" and are not automatically removed when you close your browser. We do our best to only use/permit cookies with a lifetime of less than 13 months. If you have questions about the retention period for specific information, you may contact us by email at support@darebikes.no.
  • 5

You will find information about the procedures to enable, disable or remove cookies on the browser vendors’ websites. Note that you may not achieve full functionality of the website if you disable or delete cookies.
  • 6

This technology is a better version of cookies and replaces cookies by administrating tasks related to shopping carts. When you shop on our website, we use the storage technology from localStorage to support data processing requirements for electronic transactions, including the processing of information regarding the bike models, sizes and accessories you have selected. The users' personally identifiable information is not saved.
